PATTERNS OF STEAM is a stunning and dramatic hard cover book which captures the last glorious years of steam on the railways of Australia and New Zealand, from the early 1960s to 1985 - a railway era now gone forever.

PATTERNS OF STEAM has 208 pages, is 300mm square and contains 350 evocative black-and-white photographs printed in duotone on heavy art paper. It was designed wholly by the author and is printed and bound to the highest standards. It will fascinate lovers of railways (including railway history) and fine art photography, particularly the diversity of the photographs and the links between them.
